Crash-O-Rama in Austin on Sunday. These are the best racers in the world. What they do on the bike is incredible. But, still I don't remember seeing so many get-offs in the opening laps.

Was the track especially slick?

Were tires a problem?

Or is the margin so thin between a podium finish and also-ran that the riders ride on the knife edge all the time? (Marques? He's a special case.)

I like that track.

Seems as if the tires go from grip to no grip in an instant. With so many riders down the major factor sure seems to be either track or tires.
