They guy has what, 5 world championships? He can't ride if it's wet. He can't ride if the bike doesn't suit him perfectly - and it takes a couple of years apparently to get that sorted. He was just getting fast again on the Ducati when he left for Honda. He's in another class by himself (well, maybe with Marquez) when he's got it all working which is like only when the universe is in perfect convergence and no one has spoken harshly to him today. What an enigma.

I read where he recently went to spend some time with Honda in Japan to help sort him and the bike out. I can totally see some Japanese engineer telling him "Yep we changed it all just like you asked." and then sending him out on the exact same bike configuration just to see if it's all in his head.

Wait a minute.... Remember a few years ago when it seemed that JLo and MM93 were in a conspiracy together to make sure Marc won the title? Could it be that Honda hired him to be the enforcer on the team to clear the field for Marc? Honda could have been getting pissed that he wasn't running up in the lead group where he could run interference - so he rode like a mad man to get up front but couldn't keep the bike up on the wheels for more than a lap.
