Is there any interest in Barber for a 3-day event this coming fall?
Maybe doing a loop (Barber in AL, little Talledaga in AL, NSM in KY, leading to Putnam in IN)?
I really don't want to go into IL with all my "gear" .

Damn it Steve... I'll just say that you wouldn't need to twist my arm too hard assuming that I can take the time from work. Barber is on my list, and given that it's three days it makes the trip more worthwhile. I'd also be happier if you wanted to car pool as the 779 mile ride by myself would give me too much time alone, I'd probably start talking to myself.... and answering.

Looking at the weather averages by month, I think that I'd prefer the October dates as the November dates seem like they could be iffy.

Yes, we can talk about traveling together, and taking a backup bike.
It's a long haul but worth it.
I really like Barber a lot!
