He looks a little skeptical. I bet he's met Bill Morgan before.

I looked at my pictures and he did not have a beard in 2013 or 2014 RMR

For those with more street oriented tires, Colorado National Monument near Fruita (and Grand Junction).

The Colorado national monument has great camping spots. Right on the canyon rim with great vegetation and views.

Eric, I have one GS with mags, and another with wire wheels. It depends on my mood. These mags have taken me 76K miles.?

On the orange K1300S is Daryl Horniak, from Victoria Island, BC... he's been an SGR regular from the beginning...

Thanks for that, Charlie. He's a nice guy. Good rider too. Someone should try to hit him up and let him know that the RMR is happening again.

It'd be great to see Daryl again! His name on the old site was Epi I think or something like that.

It'd be even better if I was there hugging her and ROB wasn't even in the picture...

Up yours Rob, whatever your comeback will be!

Someone on the MOA forum is asking if 50 (George Bush Dr) south of Lake City is hard surface.
Bill, Wes, Jeff, do you know?
My 2019 Colorado map shows gravel. With Google satellite view it's hard to tell on 50.

Not sure exactly where you're asking about. Going south out of Lake City you're on 149. Anywhere I've been off of that road has been an unpaved/gravel road such as 30 up to Cinnamon Pass and Animas Forks. It's all unpaved up there in the San Juans and nowhere you'd want to find yourself on a street bike.

I'm pretty sure those routes are all dirt roads, Lee.

Thanks Guy. Looks like the road is George Bush Dr and it goes over Los Pinos Pass.
          Working...
