Talked to a couple of m/c dealers here in Daytona..looks like Bike Week officially is still up in the air as far as the City of Daytona is concerned. However the surrounding areas like Ormond is preparing for the on-slaught of bikers that will come no matter what...

We rode to Daytona for lunch back in 2007. It used to be fun before it turned so commercial. As for traffic that's easy to avoid by using side streets but the appeal to go just isn't there anymore.

We were on Main street the first Friday night of last year's rally.
Lot's of drunks, crude behavior, and homeless.
Non motorcyclists far outnumbered riders.
And that's becoming true for many of the big rallies.
Too bad.
But we got to attend many of the big rallies during their "heydays".Comment

Been there many times but I also don't have the desire to attend anymore. Can't remember having any fun. Then again I don't remember a lot of stuff.
