    bmwmoa

OK, not a TRP rally but still many here may go. The BMWMOA is in Lebanon TN this year and rooms are filling up extremely fast. We're at the LaQuinta and it's fully booked. More info is available on the BMWMOA site. Pre-registration through January has a decent discount.

Packing my tent, hoping for cool nights. If not, I'll bail and go to my daughter's house an hour away.
There's nothing like partying with Chuck, Julie and crowd.

This will be our first MOA in many many years. The last time we saw Chuck and Julie was at DGR and even that was years ago.

Not a member of the MOA and have never been to one of their rallies. What should a first timer expect? It's about two hours on the Interstate for me.

While it's more structured than our get-togethers - registration, arm bands, vendors, music, food on site, seminars, demos, camping on site, etc. - it's a great way to meet new people and re-connect with old friends. Closing ceremony was always long and boring but we managed to find ourselves sitting on the bleachers watching other people win prizes and trophies - who rode the furtherest, oldest rider, youngest rider, oldest bike, etc.

Joe, are you going to camp ?
I've been to a few of them and volunteered at all but the Trenton Rally. It's a great
way to spend time and meet folks.
There are lots of venders, demo bikes, bands and beer hall at night. I'd never stay
in a hotel unless there was a way to get back there at night.
Sitting in the circle of friends at night doing shots is the best part.
I plan to arrive a few days early to help set up. The pre-rally is a fun time.

Been a member since 1983 and have attended 9 Nationals. Would have liked to attend more but summer months were usually blocked out for me at work.
We camped at 8 of the Nationals and that really works the best for hanging out at night to visit with everyone.
Our motel is 2.5 miles from the fairgrounds and I'm hoping there's some kind of shuttle so we can have a few drinks at night and still get back to the motel.

                  My plan:
Leave VT the weekend before and make my way to the rally site on Tuesday for setup.
Depart the rally site on Sunday morning after cleanup and go to my daughter's for a few days.
Then into Nashville for a couple of nights.
Head back to VT mid week.

We used to go to the MOA and RA events (member since 1986). Still don't own a Kermit chair. Then we discovered another group, some refined hooligans. Met Mike and I think, Louis for the first time, at Trenton. Looks to be well attended.

Never been a member, attended one MOA when it was held in VT. Might be tempted by this one, we'll see as we get closer to the event.

Mike, will they accept a toy hauler on the grounds or is it just tents?
