        Now for something completely different, a post back on topic graduation in the area in usually mid May. That doesn't impact us a but it does impact the motel owners, including Wattstull. So with Mother's Day and Memorial weekend that pretty much leaves the last week of May or the first week of June as the target weekends. (Seems like I might have read that somewhere else recently.) The last weekend of May leaves June open just in case the SSR folks want to get together again.

          My son-in-law makes a great cheesy-squirrel-taters recipe. Born and raised in Louisiana so the boy knows how to make a meal out of varmints.

        Is there a May BPR coming? My dance card is getting booked. Riding buddy is president of the Yankee Beemers in Massachusetts so he has to attend every darn rally. One, Frosty Nutz, is usually last weekend in April but could be moving to May. He and I are planning to leave 2nd week in June for Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Alaska but had a nice time in NC this past October and if it was possible might make a BPR mid May. Understand the college thing and no one wants Memorial Day nearby. So what is the collective cyborg thinking going on now?

        BTW I met a few of the members here at an SSR several years ago (2015?), and I hear no buzz about a revival happening, even though it would be a good thing.

          I got a text from Wes recently stating he was about to get it going. I do not have dates nor any other information beyond that. This may rattle his cage again.

          SSR will not happen unless someone wants to take the reins. We've tied several
          different venues without great success.

        Was looking at the last weekend in May which is the weekend after Memorial day if it's available. Will get with them early January.
