Turns out that Eric has a schedule conflict and can't make it.
I still plan to go to Birmingham, AL to visit my daughter. I'll
leave there on the 9th or 10th for the rally.
Anyone going that way want to join up and ride together?
I plan to take secondary roads.

I may be able to get away for a ride if you are coming to East TN. I know a few roads around this way.

This thread is strangely quiet. about three weeks to go. Maybe it's because everyone knows the drill and is ready to roll except for me.

If my plans don't change I'll be there on the 12th. Reserved until the 16th but
have no set plans after that. Free to roam for awhile.

Cathy and I roll in on the 11th, either by ourselves, or with Rooster.

You and Cathy will have at least two dinner companions on the 11th Tyson. If you're not too choosy about the company you keep.

Hey Mike, if ya find yourself coming thru ol' KY I might can give ya few tips on roads. There are several nice passages in various areas. Some can be quite "entertaining". US 31E has a nice view from Nashville to Louisville. US 62 and 60 are good along with 421 and 460. US 68 is a good one also. Just let me know which direction ya going and we can find a route for ya. There are gobs of great connectors if ya wanna spend some time (just ask MattB). I live about 30 miles East of Lexington if ya need a "crash pad". PM me if ya like.
      low miles, well maintained

Too bad, that Tim and I couldn't agree on the price. I did fit it pretty well.

It was worth every penny of the $516,000 asking price.

Why can't you go full retard? Folks typically give you some space if you do.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. Window shopping in Bandera at THCR 2009.

Bluebonnet locations. I think Ennis is near the race track.

I was down in Austin this past weekend & the bluebonnets are busting out all over. Should be a pretty sight by the time we get to Bandera.

        Looking forward to seeing everybody!!

Just for the record that was an armadillo on the half shell not an opossum (or is it a possum?).

Tyson, for Cathy's brewery tour there's three in Boerne. They are within crawling distance of each other.

Dodging Duck Brewery. This one has food.
