The weather doesn't look good for where I wanted to be tomorrow.
Unless something changes, it looks like I'll bag it and point the GS
northeast to Abingdon, VA where my truck is.

Well, it's been a great trip so far. Enjoy it to the end. Thanks for the ride reports, Mike.

I really love those kinds of trips where you've got nowhere to be and all day to get there; and you know for the next week or two it'll be the same. Great trip reporting!

On hot days Debbie always likes to stop at the low water crossing on 335 to cool her feet in the water.

I think this year was the driest we've seen the Hill Country.

This wet front that just went through from Texas to Illinois, missed the Hill Country, too. It starter just north of there. Funny enough, this huge shield of rain coming across Oklahoma, developed a split in it as it went through our County. It stayed dry here with just light sprinkles while a drenching took place 15 miles north or south. Trump's fault!

Only in the 40s yesterday so I waited until today to clean the bikes.

I had trouble with the bag locks when I tried to remove the side panniers from both bikes.
Turns out Deb's panniers were on my bike and my panniers were on her bike the entire trip.
Most nights I locked the top boxes but I never locked the panniers on the trip so I didn't realize the panniers were swapped

That's not as bad as the time I swapped rear wheels on the K1300Ss and noticed the TPMs were not working on both rear wheels
