Last time we were there we got some bluebonnet seeds from the little tourist office by one of the dams. Finally getting a good crop!

We were happy to see Granny's in Huntsville Ark was not closed for breakfast Easter morning.
Debbie had 2 eggs and bacon. I had 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and a biscuit, all for $14.
We had clear skies for our drive over Talimena Skyline Drive Ark and Ok.

Unfortunately we have some factors working against us this year. One our dogs lost his eyesight to glaucoma a few months ago, and although he is doing exceptionally well, his care during vacation has become a concern. Additionally the weather forecast for the majority of the week in east TX is for substantial rain here adjacent to the creek. Lastly, our daughter had a pipe leak repaired within her walls that has left her (me ) with a substantial amount of drywall to repair.

We have a few days yet to cancel but are fairly certain it will happen at this point. Is Bill Morgan still in need of a cabin?

We're at the Peach Tree in Fredericksburg now
We reservered a cabin and got a free upgrade to a house like last year.

Find Bellevue and then head out six miles on crummy roads. You'll see a Rooster there somewhere along the road.

We have not done the Willow City Loop in many years because it was always crowded this time of year and the road was beat up.
Only saw a few vehicles and the road was in great condition.
Very few flowers compared to the rest of the area.
Good Mexican Hats north of there on 16 and 2323.
