Went for a spin.


The Canadian River Wagon Bridge in Canadian TX. Built in 1916 it is now a walking bridge.


One of our favorite breakfast stops.


The Devil's Rope Museum in McLean TX on Route 66. It seems like a million types of barbed wire were on display and a very loud and rowdy yard sale.


A little further west on Route 66 we stopped at a cafe for lunch but we caught them on a day that they were closed.


Celebrating 100 Years of the Mother Road on Route 66.


Guess where we are.


This is as close as we got to the Goodnight Ranch. Everyone was gone. Must have been out celebrating the Mother Road.


A very scenic and extremely windy ride in northerner Texas.


Caprock Canyons State Park in Quitaque TX is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice.

Hotel Turkey in Turkey Texas was a great stop. We were there for steak night, live local music, a kickass thunderstorm, and we petted a dog.




Rainbow Courts Motor Lodge has been open since 1918.


On the way to Bandera we stopped for lunch at Salt Lick BBQ.

Headed back east we stopped for breakfast in Lockhart. We love places like this.

199 miles to go.


4024 miles later we arrived back home a bit chilly. Our last day started at 37 degrees but it was a dry cold. It was great to see everyone again and we are looking forward to next year. The bike ran great and the Dunlop Trailmax Missions will get us through our next jaunt.
