    Local ride - very mundane

Got out a bit early this morning and found a spot to park my R1250RS in front of the Rustic Cabin coffee shop in Duvall. very soon after I sat down at one of the outside tables, the rest of the old fart scooter trash showed up. We sat around and drank our coffee. As the caffiene started to do it's thing, I decided that I needed to make a "speedrun" to the Michaels's at the Crossroads Shopping Center in Bellevue, Washington to buy some picture hanging supplies. A few years back we had gotten the entire inside of our house painted. We had never gotten around to rehanging our pictures, and my wife decided that we needed to do it this week. We needed some specialized picture hanging gear in order to complete the mission.

Did I say this was mundane?

We didn't have enough time to get it together and drive into Bellevue in the Bronco, so I just went for it on my '22 R1250RS. The morning surge was mostly over, but there were still a lot of the remaining few lucky Mocrosofties driving into the big campus there for ther jobs. I, being retired, just blew past them on the RS, with that soothing Boxer sound. Made it to Michael's, and bought my supplies. Rode back home. That Torco fuel additive that Beech told me about does seem to increase the acceleration a bit.
All in all, it was a good ride. My wife was happy. We got the pictures hung.

Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down.

I read the thread title and said to myself, "yeah, sure". I was correct!
