Yesterday was sunny and 70F with very little wind so I got out for a little ride.
Decided to ride to some of the dams I worked on.
First stop was Twelve Mile Lake in Union Co Iowa. Could not get the dam in the picture.
Next was Three Mile Dam also in Union County.
Next was Little River Dam in Decatur County. These three lakes are for flood control and water supply.
There was one other larger dam I worked on just west of this Little River dam but it's on private property and a crushed limestone road. That one was not for water supply.
Each of these took about two years to complete.
The water treatment plants were done by another agency.
The old gas station in Elston has been fixed up since the last time I was through there.
