A Ride to the Paulinskill Viaduct
The weather has been nice lately, with no rain in sight, so Keene, Lisa, and I decided to take a ride. Our destination was the Paulinskill Viaduct in Knowlton Township, New Jersey.
I rode my R1300GS. I had considered taking the S1000XR, but with temperatures in the low 50s, I wanted a little more wind protection, so the GS won the day. It's great having choices!
I met Keene and Lisa at their house in Ewing, and from there we took the back roads toward North Jersey. But first, we made a lunch stop at Wings Cafe at Blairstown Airport, a small airport where you'll find private planes and gliders. It's always fun finding places like that along the way.
After lunch, we got back on the bikes and headed for the Paulinskill Viaduct to check out the street art. What a cool place! The viaduct and the surrounding artwork made for some great photo opportunities.
Here are a few pictures I took along the way with Nancy's camera. I'm still learning my way around it, but I'm enjoying taking it along on these adventures.
South Park

There was a creek there for fishing

Flock cameras

Not the Beatles, but could be Abbey Road

This is a from a famous picture (Painting)

Nighthawks, painted by American artist Edward Hopper in 1942.

But they are still together.

Very cool street art. Nancy would of loved it! I miss her.
