Riding Western North Carolina next two weeks

I have a cabin near Bryson City, NC and trailered the bike up for some riding of these excellent roads in the area.

Tomorrow will hit rt28 to the dragon then back side to Telco Plains then down the Cherahala and back to the cabin.

I'll post a report of that ride and figure out the next ride on Monday. Weekends are not a good time to be out around here, too busy! ?

Looks like a great area to be Jim, how long have you owned the cabin there?

Your HQ is close enough that North Georgia may be an option for a Monday ride. Hopefully not alot of traffic then but be on the lookout for the "it's the season of summer people". Warwoman Road, Germany Road, down to Suches...

Good that you won't be on 421 during the weekend.

My last ride was going down the Blue Ridge for about two hours starting at Cherokee and back. Good ride, I hit the peak of elevation and ran into a guy who had a rebuilt 1982 CX500. I noticed the BR doesn't have corner speed signs on every corner like the Cherohala so it makes the ride a little more surprising.

You have to try the Warwoman road. Great ride.
