Wow! Home. No laptops. No work phones. And there are these strange roads everywhere. They tell us the roads are like this because of something called curves. Here we are on one of these strange roads, We are one mile from the house! I'll try to do a full blown ride report tomorrow. Wednesday we went to Eurosport and ordered a rain jacket. We pick it up tomorrow. We've been over the river and through the woods so there's lots to tell. Sure is great to be home!

We can take you on them but we would need to blindfold you firstOriginally posted by K1DUDE View PostNice! Are they super dangerous, secret roads?

BTW, we got a ticket Wednesday. Seems as if old habits die hard. We've stopped in Saluda NC for decades but never on a weekday. So Wednesday we are going to stop at Ward's for a burger but all the parking spots are taken. No problem, there are spots track side. Problem. Seems as if I have lost the ability to read. One fine burger and 25 dollars later we're back to wearing out tires.

Seems as if we're always guilty, even hen we're not even on the bike. The spaces are clearly marked but neither of us noticed them.Originally posted by 802Mike View PostNon-moving violation.... I don't know who you are anymore!

Below is a link to our Wed, Fri, and Sat rides. We arrived "home" Monday evening around 5 pm. Tuesday was spent resolving a Verizon issue, grocery shopping, and getting haircuts. Wednesday we rode to Saluda NC with the parking thingy and Ward's. If you are ever in the area and need grease, really good grease, get a burger here! After the burger we stopped by Wunderlich in town and bought more farkles, a GPS sunscreen and radiator guards. Friday we rode over to Cashiers to the Ugly Dog. They have really good food and the ride was awesome. Unfortunately US 64 has been straightened but there are many other side roads to make up the loss. Saturday we only went to Eurosport and back. A ride to our dealer involves more curvy backroads and some of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We've put hundreds of miles on the GS this week and we haven't gone more than an hour from home! If we ever get another dog we're going to name it Toto.
Hope y'all all have a great weekend.
