Saturday found us up and out fairly early. We did wait until the fog cleared the parking lot.


We rode around the rest of the day with a dirty GS. Whooda thunk it, a GS off road. J


Lunch was at the Greenbrier Grill in Marlinton WV. Seems as if this is a must stop location every year. Food is OK but the sitting on the back porch overlooking the ducks and river is the big draw. Here are a few people shots.




Another great day. Saturday evening was spent relaxing from the day's ride.

At one point on the Parkway we came to a cattle crossing. Not quite like the cattle crossings on the Three Twisted Sisters, this one had real cows. One of the young ones decided to outrun us but soon tired and doubled back. This was just after slowing for a herd of deer and I think just before the skunk ran out and almost t-boned us. Lots of critters out today.

Hopefully the pics show now, i tried to create the ride tale in Word with [img] and http address to Google photos. it worked fine for me and the photos are shared but apparently don't work for everyone. Let me know if they are visible now.

I'm going to clip the GoPro video one of these days and post it. Tonight we pack for the Chicken Rally so I doubt I'll do it anytime soon.
