We sleep in the van. There is a 6 x 4 bed platform with storage under it. This was taken as we approached our overnight site on the BMW.

Thanks for all the pictures. Your pictures are much different than what we remember when riding through the Badlands in 1990.
All we remember is eroded areas and rock. No color, grass or trees.
We didn't like it and didn't want to return

After seeing your pictures it looks like we need to return. I've been wanting to return to the Black Hills so we could combine in one trip.
