We were tempted to buy one but the heat from the tail pipe on the pillion's right leg was unbearable.
On the plus side, there was essentially no buffeting or wind noise with two up, even on the expressway at 70 mph, with or without the windscreen.

Bears. did you ride a gasoline burning cycle, or did you simply pedal out there? If it was in fact, gasoline powered, what was it and where is it now?

We dragged my 2002 K12RS out there on an Aluma Motorcycle Trailer and rode it out there. We are currently motocycle-less. Cathy asked when we might go back in a cage. The answered was not near the rally weeks as it would just interfere with the two wheelers. Haven't considered taking a bicycle but again, that would be at least a week or two before or after the ralley. Needles and Iron Mountain would be great on a bike. Custer State Park with the buffalo herds, maybe not!

We have not been to the Black Hills in a long time. That would be a good car trip for us. Go through the Nebraska Sand Hills on the way.

Lee's car trips and bike trips always include some unusual stuff!
