For the bike cover, I meant that more for once you've arrived at your destination for the day/night, not while you're in route.

What about a Geza Gear cover? Their FAQ's show their cover can be used on an open trailer and since you'd be hauling in the truck & a lot less turbulence than an open trailer, maybe that would work. Seems like I remember Kenny Glover having a Geza cover once upon a time.

I did misunderstand you. I thought you meant while hauling the bike. I would like to do that while hauling the bike but I think the cover is a problem. Just covering it when I stop sounds like a better idea.

Pete, covering it while on an open trailer is not necessary. The bike is made to cut through air more efficiently than your truck. Besides the cover will act as a sail or a parachute.

I'm not thinking of putting it on an open trailer. I want to haul it in the bed of my play truck. The Geza covers look like a possibility.

The enclosed trailer is nice because we can store our riding gear in it along with other
stuff we may need. It's locked and under cover. With all your rental units I'm sure you
        could use a tool trailer.

Two Things: 1) I really don't want to tow a trailer.
          2) I don't work on my property anymore. I pay others.

          1) Oh, I thought this was a trailer thread?
          2) As long as ICE doesn't find out.

You are right! The more I thought about it and saw other people towing trailers I decided I did not want to tow anything. I'm leaning towards the hard shell roof top tent over the cab with the bike in the bed.

I remember when you did that several years ago. That would work for a long haul but to much trouble every time I want to move. I like the Geza half cover. I think I can still tie the bike down with it on. http://www.gezagear.com/
