Wes, I appreciate the thread, I've been wondering the same for years.
Looking at the lights, I had two questions, one I answered for myself as I finally noticed that they are 56mm (2.2') diameter. My other question is whether the mounting bracket which is afixed to the light is adjustable or fixed. Can it rotate, say 90 degrees?Matt

I posted a close up couple of photos in this thread of the mounting solution. They will rotate on the clamp mount but I can't remember if if they'll go a full 90 degrees. I'll take a look at them later today and let you know. You can see in the photos that I've rotated them ~30 degrees or so to align them.

I'm going to get off this fall to ride the MABDR and maybe continue on the NEBDR. We often can't seem to find a place to camp until after dark so I'm looking forward to being able to really light up the place and I'll circle back and let you guys know if they survived the first big adventure on them.

I had those rectangular lights laying around on the bench and a spare accessory lights circuit on the EZcan so I spent a couple of hours in the garage yesterday figuring out a place to put them.
With these mounted up capable of over 12,000 lumens of flood light, I switched the amber tint over to these and pealed it back off the lens on the spots. These flood lights are so bright that I'm running them at 20% day and 10% night on low beam and I'm leaving the spots off during the day on low beam:
When the high beam comes on, everything goes to 100% power and they are really crazy bright with the spots throwing light pretty far down the road. The HEX EZCan ($200), the spots ($38), and the floods ($17) plus a little wire and connectors - I'm in to this whole solution for less than $270 with full canbus integration.Comment
