What do yoi recommend for a clean, safe way to power all your added electronics on your GS bike? I installed a Spod in my Jeep and it makes life a lot easier and reduces the wires running all over the place for aux ights, etc. I didn't use one of my K1200S, but I should have. So besides the 2 items in the subject, is there another option or would you suggest one of the items that I mentioned? I'm sure that I will have a couple extra lights and things to run to the gizmo. Thanks

I bought a kit from Eastern Beaver. I've moved it to three different bikes now and it is still a great piece of kit. Simple, works well, and is inexpensive. https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/W...PC-8/pc-8.html
Just a note, it doesn't have any of the "programmable" features, but I don't need that. I just need stable power, switched or unswitched and with the amp rating that I want.

I have the PDM 60. No troubles with it. Can't say how it compares to others. I like that the amperage for each circuit can be set by changing the PDMs programming.

On my K12S I had a Centech fuse box mounted under the seat. That would be the perfect spot for the PDM if there were room, but unfortunately, the space available on the K12S is now occupied by additional electronics on the K13S. On my previous K13S, I had an Eastern Beaver fuse box mounted under a rear side pod, which was OK, but with the PDM unit that location kind of defeats the feature of being able to see to adjust the unit visually, other than during the initial installation...

I've been pretty happy with the PDM60 I've installed on a few bikes. I mounted mine on the GS in this location:

It's been there for nearly 4 years now while I ride this bike like an enduro. It's been through water up to the jugs, lots of mud and gnarly trail, and the bike has taken some pretty hard knocks and it's stayed put and I haven't given it a thought since I installed it. Skene P3s, accessory power to my top box, and my MotoProCam dual DVR cameras all powered off of it.
