    I already forgot what the problem was, maybe Tim remembers as he helped checking the bike.

    I think that Lee had this same problem with his red K bike when we were all at RMR one year?? Could be wrong though. Beautiful daughter, btw!!! I hope she liked Luckenbach, we sure do!

    There was a recall on this that I had done to one of my K bikes. It was basically a new wiring harness (thicker gauge wiring) to the starter. It was done under recall and you may still be able to get it done although I thought this particular problem was fixed on the newer bikes.

    I've used Westco batteries from Beemer boneyard with great success, but back to the hot start issue. I don't have time to Google it right now but there was a fix out that involved adding another wire to the starter. I'll try to locate it later if you don't have any luck.
