    Best Tire Prices?

Just returned from a trip to lake of the ozarks, although my roadsmart IIIs only have 12,000 miles on them with plenty of meat left, the front tire is pretty cupped and back pretty flat down the middle, so needless to say below 30 mph bike wanders like I'm going over a steel bridge. I guess its time for new tires again. So who has the best tire prices??? Revzilla seems kinda high although I think they price match. Dunlop does have a $40 rebate going till end of July. Time to do my homework and order up a new set of Dunlops.
motosport seems to have pretty good pricing but I have never ordered from them.

"You had me at Nashville" - NOT !!

Not to hi-jack your thread, but....

You had me at 12,000 on K1300 S tires.
    Is that a typo ?

      NO!!
12,000 miles is correct, only reason I even feel the need to replace is because the front is getting cupped and not the smoothest ride anymore.
dunlops wear like iron, stick like glue!

For sure, I recommend them to all my tire customers. No sales tax at the moment. Next is Rocky Mountain ATV.

That really is an amazing amount of miles on a Motorcycle Tire Dan. Did you rack up those miles in mostly rain? I got an extra 1500 miles on my last set of tires due to cold/wet conditions on our trip around Lake Superior last year. I typically get my Tires from Dennis Kirk but have used RevZilla in the past.

          Dan,
Just checked Dennis Kirk, awesome price $250 for the set, unfortunately there out of stock, go figure!
Thanks for the tip, will call them on Monday to see if they have a ETA of a new shipment.

That is a lot of miles, but not for a rider like RedTail. He could get twice that many miles on a set of tires, going faster than anyone else, on roads too dangerous for the rest of us to ride. Just amazing!
I’d rather think someone’s a son of a bitch than to have him think I’m a son of a bitch.

Don't forget to check for tax. Depending where the warehouse is, they may or may not charge you tax.

            Lee,
I'm finding that out, when I go to the check out, so far revzilla is the most expensive at $345.00
going to make a couple more phone calls on Monday. Not trying to be cheap believe me, just doing my homework is all.

I don't shop around anymore, the people at Revzilla have been the best.
I always get a real person on the phone and they know their stuff because
              they're also riders.
If I wanted to go cheap I'd run Stinkos !

We buy our tires at our dealer. It pays off if you ever need a favor. As for mileage we're hoping to get 5000 miles out of PR4's soon. We couldn't get 12000 miles if we rolled the tire with a stick.
It could be the roads we ride.

Last year I bought 2 Dunlaps at a shop in Des Moines and had Revzilla ship two tires to Texas to be mounted down there.
We were able to get a $60 rebate for each bike.
Send the rebate form in and see what happens.
