R1250RS Air Filter

Changed the air filters on our 2022 R1250RSs yesterday.
Had 20,900 miles on mine and 20,550 miles on Debbie's.
The old ones still looked clean. When I blew air through them with the air compressor I didn't see any dirt blow out.

Those are clean! I changed the K1300S filters just before Arkansas last year. One has a grasshopper in it. Utah, I think. They made a mess of our boots.

The K1300S air filters always had a bunch of bugs and stuff plasters to the front of them.





Usually some sand in the snorkel.

I was told that they make the BMW filter.

On Amazon for $25, so I keep one on the
shelf for future use.

I get a lot of dirt from riding back roads.
Sometimes I have to follow other vehicles.

Yep, same filter and location as the GS.

22 on the RS and R 26 if you have a tank bag ring.

Mike, that's correct for the GS. The RS and R are different.

Yes, harder to get to but probably the filters don't require as frequent of a service on the RS vs the GS

That's right Mike. While the filter has the same replacement interval as the GS it doesn't need replacement that soon. The filter in my first post had 20,900 miles.
