I keep this chart next to my air compressor.
I use a gauge and use the PSI compensated to 68. My gauge matches the bike TPM when compensated to 68F.
On trips I look at the TPM reading every day or two to make sure I don't have a slow leak.
I don't check with a gauge on a trip.

Go to Costco and put nitrogen in them. Ours has tire inflator outside by the tire center.

I once stopped in Eureka Nevada on a ride. The folks there are 4 hours each way from a big box store so they have a big van and take the shopping list of everyone in town with then when they go.

I have an air compressor that puts in 78% Nitrogen.

Wes, that's my preferred mixture as well. I almost never put in the "recommended" pressure unless I'm two up and carrying a refrigerator on the rack. Mid-30's on my GS wears evenly, gives me better grip when I'm chasing MattB, and rides better.

44 psi on the rear and we're good. 41 psi on the rear and this happens, on the street.
