    K1200R clutch issues resolved

I have just had my clutch reworked by John Sykes. (4hundredfour) and fitted it yesterday. My 2008 K1200R has 104000km and the clutch sounded like a Ducati dry clutchBMW clutch set with the same old problems. I did buy a k13 thrust adaptor (pushrod) with the extra groove for increased oil flow to the clutch. During the process John answered many questions, keeping me fully informed. My first ride was amazing. No rattle and a smooth progressive take up. No clunk from neutral to first or first to second. It felt as though my gearbox had been rebuilt. Because of the clutch components he uses he is able to add an extra steel and friction plate. His work is amazing so I have included his email should you wish to contact him. Check out his videos on YouTube

unfortunately, a utube and google search only turns up former Whitesnake guitarist John Sykes.

Is he the one that reworked your clutch?????

I need to do this with my '06 K12R, has 20,000 miles on the odometer. Does John share the info on how to disassemble and reassemble?

No that info is quite specific to BMW. He will return the clutch pack fully assembled but you still have to install it. Not a job to do without instructions.
