I suppose a RnineT Scrambler is a dualie. And it was mine for a couple of days while the K was in for a service.
Terrific bike despite missing 60+hp.

Well, Mani, the Scrambler is the most customisable bike in the Beemer range. Seeing as its a brand newie, my guess is it was a creation from someone at the factory. Personally, if it was me, I'd put on wire rims and a brown leather seat. When I was riding it I felt I really should be wearing a leather helmet and flying goggles. Perhaps even a long scarf blowing in the wind, jodhpurs and knee-highs to round off the picture

A dual sporting is all in what you make it... (I should add that the last time the K-RS went dual sporting the fork seals flipped me the bird and went tango uniform).
Me in Colorado on my 2002 K12RS... I *MIGHT* have passed a GS Adventure in the dirt that day, but I won't mention Mani's name as I don't want other GS riders to disown him.

Me in Colorado on Bill Morgan's DR650

Ha! Some of us are still up for the challenge Mr. Bone.Originally posted by Loggiebone View PostNeed to pic your lines better. More shallow and faster on either edge. Rookie. ?
But in fairness, I was very much a Rookie on this trip/ride as it was the absolute first time that I'd been on an "adult" dirt bike (read larger than 100cc)Matt

"Still waters run deep." And then, sometimes you just go for it. Who never knew rocks without dirt are like marbles. The GS sank like a rock but luckily came out the other side.Originally posted by Loggiebone View PostNeed to pic your lines better. More shallow and faster on either edge. Rookie. ?
And then there are days when a 525 pound bike is a good thing. It tells you that yes, you ARE going to turn around now.
