That night before was so funny, Bill Morgan almost spit his drink when "that guy" rather pointedly asked why I thought Buena Vista was only 2 hours away and I answered, "Because Decker's is 4 and Buena Vista is half way?" Hey, if I were wrong more often I'd shut up. You came in that next evening, walked over to me, put your head on my shoulder and whimpered.
And if we are talking about the "same guy" (which I believe we are), he:

    1) scolded us for passing him because he was the group leader
    2) connected with his friend, "fastest guy he'd ever ridden with" at a gas station whereby he had us sit and bake in the heat while his friend filled up his tank, then WENT INSIDE TO EAT LUNCH
    3) was not overly amused when I made it a point to pass him and the "fastest guy he'd ever ridden with" on the way back to the hotel

Yes, yes I remember TOO clearly.

And I told him he was riding a barbie bike. Anjali started laughing.

To be fair, his friend gave me a fist bump at the end of the twisted section where I was waiting at the stop sign. King David didn't seem quite as excited when he arrived on his Ducati Pikes Peak Multistrada.

          No you didn't!
