Yep. Remember we talked about this while at BRPR.

But not every poor guy who wants a test ride can afford it like you, Doug.

I started getting really excited about this bike until I remembered how much I spent and how much effort I went to to get my '16 GS just exactly like I wanted it. So for now, I'm harboring the delusion that absolutely nothing I've put on my '16 will work on a new 1250. Nope, not even the valve caps are compatible and please don't spoil this for me if you know otherwise. The guys at Bob's BMW are wondering what happened to me - haven't been in there in a long while because I don't even want to see one in person.

I just spent this past winter getting my WR250R outfitted exactly like I wanted it. Boxes from RockyMtnMoto were showing up at least 3x a week for months. I think if that started happening again after bringing home another new bike I'd be sleeping in the garage with the bikes.

Wes, I do know for certain that I want one. Thats what I am afraid of. I go to my dealer often to chat with all of them there, but refuse to take one for a test ride.

I'd feel the same way about the new S1000RR as well but I found the antidote for BMW race bike fever. I was riding it at the BRPR. After riding track days for a while on my '13 RR, I guess I finally got my fill of hovering the front tire at 140 mph and get my kicks now the same way you do - Two Rs is one too many for me anymore.

I was ready to order one when I too realized that I'd spent a lot of time getting my '15 GSA just
about perfect for me. I told the dealer that there wasn't a color I liked in the 2018 lineup. I do
like the '19 colors but will have to wait due to shoulder.
