        Very much like laser on a radar detector. Although I guess it would depend on the location of the seismic sensor and the distance someone is from the epicenter. If a sensor is located nearby, and the recipient of the warning is farther, it could be useful. Maybe like Escort Live or Waze?

          The wife and I were talking about how to describe the sounds and vibrations we heard and I think this is the best one. It was like being in a house that was close enough to train tracks that you could faintly hear it and faintly feel the train passing. There was no engine sound (or horn), just the thumping as the train rolled down the track.
