Well, the expander will be seeing use under the shop truck. 150k on the clock of an '07 F150,manual trans V6,2WD.
Started working on it,and the finishing touches on the 636. The latter was some bodywork and paint. The truck has seen some $$ being thrown at it. Got late model 18" wheels to replace factory steely 17". Drilled/slotted rotors all around with Hawk road racing pads,Bilstein shocks. Added (along with fluid change) a steering rack cooler from a new E van. Also got a nice $$$ electric cooling fan setup. Short throw shifter, rear diff and trans fluid changes. And some other bits, like '07 Mustang mirrors to replace the ginormous stock bits. New late model grill and some other engine bits. Air dam that's barely noticeable. Lowered rear suspension about 3" to get the thing level.
I wanted to get the truck and the 636 sorta over with before setting in on the K bike.
Probably gonna snag some shorty headers from a V6 Mustang and then weld up a real, dual exhaust soooooo, that's why I'm building the expander. Wifeypoo owes me some money.... told her she can buy tires for the truck. Going from a 235/70-17 to a 275/65-18. Truck has a 331 rear gear. Does 75 in 3rd. And go to jail in 4th. Being so lite.... it flys.

Mustang mirrors are freakin NICE. Pretty cheap on evilbay. Made an aluminum blank out piece with a cutout for the new mirrors. Then drilled a cpl holes in the internal plate that the factory mirrors bolt to. Was pretty easy really. Has that old school 60's and early 70's 1/2 ton truck look. Before every one had to be 4WD and monster sized trailering mirrors.
