The missing link or,what connects section A with section B is being made out of Ebay Kydex. It's that stuff plastic holsters are made of. The pic below is the 1st try at a cardboard template. Took like,10 seconds... really.
They're mirror images,right to left. Two pieces of Kydex,meet in the middle. Can make it out of gauge metal but F that. This stuff is already black and just need to burnish the edges and forget about it.
I'd sorta had all this part figured out.

Above photo,you can see the battery box mock up. It's that white sheet metal. Anyway,the real one will be very similar except,there's a Kydex cover that slips between the box and battery.... all held together with a draw catch thingy.Comment
