Thats exactly right. On ADV, there were hundreds of peeps buying out the last of the air oil when the LC GS bikes came out, saying who would ever want a couple of radiators out on dirt in the middle of nowhere. They were so wrong.

Brings back memories of cruising Church Street in Burlington, VT back in the 70s.
Now it's closed off and a market place for pedestrians and panhandlers.

I already told my wife that I'm getting one for my mid-life crisis when I turn 40. I figure they'll have the bugs worked out by then and/or I'll be able to pick up a gently used one off of lease or private party for a steal. No need for any of the ZRwhatevers, just a base model with the Z51 performance package please.

Car came about too late for me, so I rescheduled my crisis for 50.

I read an article yesterday that said the first year production is already sold out. GM will sell a shitload of these things. The Corvette has always been about the best overall sports car value there is in terms of affordability, performance & price.

That's because they are $5 Hookers Kurt.... I still laugh thinking about that analogy every time I cum into this thread.

I think that they look sexy as hell, and sound sexy... I'm just hoping that the interior cockpit/components don't look like something that belongs in a Silverado pickup as I've sometimes felt in the past.

In terms of it not appealing to the "classic" corvette buyer, thus not selling, I was talking about the 2020 Vette this weekend and my wife pipes in "Corvettes are old mans cars". I asked if she saw the new ones, she had not, I pulled up pics while we were in the car and she and the kids ooooood, and ahhhhhed, and pretty much finished with "HELL YEAH!" So maybe GM is simply trying to move toward a new audience and stay relevant
