I've put several thousand miles on my truck hauling various bikes back and forth to GA and my dirt bike up into PA. No problems with the tailgate getting damaged from road debris. Also, I haven't found that there's any need to attach the wheel chock to the bed of the truck (mine has a LineX bed liner in it). I use a Condor with the optional wings on it and strapping the bike down very securely keeps the Condor in place with no chance of it moving. The Condor isn't cheap but it'll hold my bikeapotomus GS in place standing up while I strap it down.

5.5' bed with bed extender that'll keep the ramps and other bits from bailing out along the way.

At the risk of inserting political views here, but with RMR pending, and in light of the COVID hysteria that has been shoved down our throats, I just want to make this statement to avoid any uncomfortable personal interactions...

You're welcome to your own opinion, but this is what I believe. My point is, I have no issue with shaking hands or hugging, so if you're uncomfortable with this, just maintain your "social distance". Otherwise, step right up for a handshake or a hug!!

Charlie, I would love to attend the RMR this year, I was looking forward to seeing you and the gang, especially all the good looking women. I know you are entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. This is not a political issue, it's a health issue. The vast majority of health officials believe a mask helps, not stops but helps prevent transmission. It's not pseudo-science.
You guys have fun and I'll catch up with you next year, there or at another rally.
