Tyson and Mike made it home safely. We had a great trip. Mike dropped me off in Wichita Falls on Friday night and went the last 45 miles to his home outside Bellevue. I stayed with my son and family until today. I rode the last 225 miles to Cushing on the Triumph this afternoon. The high was only 97 when I left but cooled to the low 90's within the first hour.

Thanks to everyone who made this event so fun. It was nice to meet in person several guys I had visited with on the internet over the years. You never get to spend enough time with interesting people, though. So, I guess that means we will have to meet up again somewhere. The rides out of Gunnison were entertaining to me. There are still lots of places in the area that I haven't seen. If Gunnison is on the schedule in the future, I will definitely try to make it.

BTW I have seen the Neowise Comet three nights in a row. It's a big deal if you are at all interested in astronomy. It is pretty impressive, even as low as it is in the evening sky. It's worth driving out of the city to see. I recommend it.

My phone, the only source of picture taking for me, crapped the bed on the first day. No pictures. I will see if I can get my compadres to send me some pictures and I'll tell a tale.

So many questions. Like, is that a guy or a girl? "Yes Grasshopper." and then there's the whole "Emergency Information" thing.

Lee, don't you think people would see K-75's in an entirely different light if they knew that under the bodywork sat a 145 H.P. engine? I think they look good as they are, but if people knew they were fast, they would actually LOOK fast.

Debbie got taller on the trip.

I arrived home, safe, sound, and sleepy just after midnight on Sunday/Monday, returning after 24 consecutive days away from home. Susan I'll get you your epic ride report, but it may take some days as I sort through the video, pictures, and prepare for my FAMILY vacation next week.

I will say, while I was sad that Bobby didn't end up making it (would have been great to meet you), I was very blessed to finally meet Kneedragger and Victory for the first time having "known" them for over ten years now. It was absolutely great to see everyone again, not the least of which the two dudes that I spent an abundance of time with over the past 3-4 weeks... justjoe and Bmorganjr ... we've been accused of being a clique, but everyone should know that we love clique'ing with all of you special people, thanks for making it happen.

Matt, thanks for riding with the 'old guys' on Wednesday. The trip down to The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park was a highlight. But, there are some tricks old Mikey and I didn't get around to showing you. Maybe, next time.

And, I want to hear about the Harley from you. I think Jeff was embellishing the tale.

It was a painful decision not to go as I wanted to meet those of you that I've come to know via this and another forum over the last 10 years or so. And of course meeting the newer hooligans would have been great too. It was an agonizing decision, believe me, just ask Karin. I drove her nuts flipping back and forth before finally deciding to pull the plug. Even got new tires mounted. So I'll just say that I'm sure we'll connect sometime soon. Be safe.

Damn! There's some good looking guys! The camera puts some pounds on them, so they are even better in person.

And then there's MattB. He had 4 pair of gloves, three pair of boots, 3 or 4 riding suits etc... and here he's borrowing someone else's motorcycle ?

Eric, why are you still bringing up me "scratching" my VFR (which was done back in 2008)? Certainly you must have crashed at some point in your lifetime, if not, kudos to you.

Matt, it's all in fun and games don't take it personal, I have no green bike owners to pick on these days.
