I spoke with my 'squeeze' er, Mrs. Gordon, just now and she's going to start taking reservations from others not part of our group. I think that's reasonable and don't want her to miss out on revenue opportunities waiting for us and anyone still on the fence. We agreed if we have last minute attendees, we'll just have to deal with it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in Jasper.

Well Guys, I bailed as well. Change of plans.
Called Mrs. Gordon and cancelled my room, she was gracious.

Kansas Tim adds class to our group . . . so long as you don't inquire too closely!

      Harvest time now.
I'll check to see if he will be done in time.
Seems like he also had another conflict this year.

Steve said the harvest is going good but did not say if he can go the Arkansas.

Unfortunately, he won't be making the scene in Jasper this year.

Gary & I will be trailering up. I'm putting new tires on the K12S... she's been feeling neglected lately.

Weather's looking good for next week... high 60's during the day, mid-40's at night.

Curt, for AHR are we actually going for QUALITY this year, and not just quantity? I can see how someone might jump to that conclusion simply by comparing the folks that are "IN" versus those that are "OUT." It's arguable, of course, but still . . . I can see it.

Good one Tyson. Hasn't it always been about quality?

We've had some good ones over the years and some more well attended than others, but they've all been fun. Each rally seems to have its own vibe & personality in a way, which is one of the things I like about the Hillbilly. Like the year those Kawasaki guys showed up & rode with us or the first time Boyd brought in dinner or BMJr & Dale putting on the fish fry last year or the year it was so freaking cold Randy & Pat went out & found the original fire pit for our parking lot bond fires or the year we had a biblical fly infestation, or Flynado as I call it... hell, while most of us would just as soon forget, I guess you could say the year you & Cathy stumbled on our little soiree, ranks right up there!

I concur Curt. The Hillbilly is a great event that is always fun to attend! Even if we have to deal with Tyson.

Weather's looking pretty good for next week! I'm getting pumped. I kinda wish Gary & I were riding up, but we're gonna trailer instead. He's got to be back home early the following week. I've got the Mighty K pretty much ready to go but Gary is dilemmafied over which bike he wants to bring, his R12S or his K12S. He's going to throw some wood in the bed of his truck for ye ole fire pit too. Not our original fire pit mind you... that one was run over by Mrs. Gordon.

I texted Boyd that we'd be up there and he's gonna try and visit with us at some point. Said he and Fey have 3 weddings they're catering during the time we're in Jasper.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

Convince Gary to bring both the K AND the R! I will ride whichever one he doesn't want to. I kind of like that "BumbleBee."

We leave tomorrow morning and will stay at the Hotel Seville in Harrison tomorrow night.
Bummer the restaurant is not open Sun, Mon or Tues.
Probably stop at the Kansas City BMW shop on the way since we have not been there this year.
We'll do a short loop on Wednesday before arriving in Jasper.

Boyd's planning to come up & have breakfast with us on Friday, then ride with us for a while & head back to Dover after lunch. He & Fey have 3 weddings to cater while we're in Jasper.

Friday might be a good day for an Angry Hornet with a pie chaser.

Big Mike Knox is doing a "pre" up by Lake of the Ozarks with all his friends. (He's going solo! LOL) He'll be in mid-afternoon on Wednesday (if he doesn't get lost. I wasn't sure he could find Gunnison.)
