As most of you know, Mrs. Gordon has sold the motel & is moving on to a life of leisure after many years hosting us in Jasper. It was a great time while it lasted and I can say for sure, I've had some really fun times there. In fact, the Hillbilly was my very first rally of any kind and I thank my lucky stars I fell in with such a good group of people. But as Bob Dylan might say, 'the times they are a changing' & we've had to consider other locations for our get together.
This year, we'll try a new venue in Yellville, AR called the Carlton Marion Inn & is about 30 miles due east of Harrison, so we're still near all the good riding we've come to enjoy over the years. The motel has a fire pit for socializing & an area for us to grill out one evening if we like. There are 4-5 places to eat within walking distance or a very short ride/drive (BBQ, Mexican, pizza) and there is a liquor store 5 minutes north of the motel.
Since I got a late start looking for new digs in the hopes that we'd get another stay at the Gordon, room selection was not as clear cut as I'd hoped, but I think we have enough to accommodate everyone interested in attending. Here's the line-up:
