So Governor says he fully expects to go to Phase 1 reopening on Friday the 15th. Businesses can reopen using social distance guidelines. Sounds like we'll be OK for the 28th. Good thing we moved the rally a little later.

So does that mean the restaurant will be open but we have to sit at separate tables or do take out only? And gathering at the motel we must keep six feet apart and wear masks?

Probably mean some of that Furman but seriously doubt anyone is going to come up the hill and challenge us about being 6 feet apart.

I sure hope the weather improves, it's been a wet & cold spring so far
      & I don't do masks

We can do this, we're all responsible adults. OK most of us are responsible adults. OK some of us are responsible adults. OK legend has it that one time, probably a long time ago, a responsible adult attended.

If they do they may be asked to leave. We've got low standards and we want to keep it that way.

Who is this responsible adult? We don't need that nonsense!

Somewhere I have a picture of Earthman at SSR with a blown apart grill.
Best to light it right after turning on the gas to the burner they found out.

I can't imagine Stull or his boys having a problem with that, especially if we invite them but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I heard some frogs on the pond last night. They better be careful or they'll need prosthetics.

      #54
And how do you butcher half a cow? Wouldn't that have a negative effect on the other half?

Just when I think that things look good for me to attend... I'm not gonna say that I'm out, but I'm gonna say that I'm in a difficult situation. My youngest, was scheduled for her second knee surgery, at age 12, back on April 3rd. The surgery was cancelled two days before the surgery, due to COVID, and it has been rescheduled for May 29th.

Sorry to hear of your daughter's knee problems and hope the surgery takes care of it. That's got to be scary for a 12 year old and I'm sure she would really appreciate some Dad love.

Doug, she tore her ACL in the right knee last April playing soccer. During rehab in December, she began complaining of pain in her LEFT (untouched) knee. The doctor agreed that it was "clicking"/not right, ordered an MRI, found a cyst but can not explain why. This time will only be a scope, so she's actually pretty calm collected and let's get on with it already.... but I'm still not sure that me leaving to go riding would be the right answer.

So sorry to hear that Matt, hope and pray all goes well. On another mildly related note, you and I can go ridin after I get back.

Went to a Car's & Coffee in Winchester this morning, none of us were wearing masks. Cop stopped for a coffee didn't say a word.
I think we'll be fine in Buchanan.

Just for info sake could NC,WV and VA residents state what phase they are?

In Sc pretty much everything is open, or will be next week! right now restaurants are open for sit-in dining up to 50% capacity.

@Joe/Ken try not to scare the dawdlers on the Parkway too much this year!
