Could such attacks be countered by simply having a bunch of off-line, off the internet, pre-programmed computers to manually replace the hacked ones?

Such attacks could be countered if you could make sure that your backups aren't hacked versions of your system. A construction company owner I know got hit with a ransomware attack but they wanted until after he'd gone through several backups before they triggered it. All his backups were also locked up. All his accounts payable and receivable where lost and he had to rely on the honesty of others to reconstruct his ledgers.

Typical summer weather forecast for the weekend. Temps in the 80s with scattered afternoon thunderstorms possibly popping off.

I'm still planning on leaving Annapolis after the rush hour Thursday morning taking the scenic route to the Wattstull. I may be there by check in time. Room #14.

Same for me, about 3 1/2 most direct which I will not be taking. I plan to head across central VA to the north end of the BRP and hook on to it until I'm abeam the destination.

Steve is out. His new RR is sitting on a boat in New York harbor. No one can tell him when it will be unloaded. He bought it in November.

Most of the day was in the 60s and dry.

the Guzzi to it's new owner.
I should roll in that sometime that afternoon.
Didn't wash the GSA because I want you all to think I rode all the
