Ok, so folks have been asking about a BRPR both on here and on I-BMW. Since it seemed they weren't going to do one I contacted the Wattstull today and asked to block 10 rooms. Turns out Bruce V had also contacted the Wattstull today. The lady there was a bit confused about what was going on so eventually I called Bruce. I like Bruce and it was good to talk with him. He's unsure of the interest there and most of those asking there also frequent here. I told him if they do a full blown rally great, I'll back out. If they don't, we've got at least 10 rooms and we'll reach out to their members who usually attend.
So that being said I've got 10 rooms blocked out for the time being for the usual weekend, May 16,17,18 and 19, Thursday through Sunday. The Wattstull has gone up a bit, rooms are $85, 95.20 with tax. They're blocked out under my name, Wes Ripley. You have to call to reserve one of the block, they won't show up if you book online.

We didn't get into the details of how long they're blocked for, it was a short call and some issues were unresolved. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy and she was still upset about everyone not showing last year, they lost a good bit of money. More details next week but we do have some rooms booked.
