      Right now I'm back on Mitas EO7s....
      I bought a set of new Battlax Adventure A41 OEM take-offs on Marketplace
      and will mount them up for this trip. I know they're not rated as the best tire,
      but the price was too good to pass up. Last year I ran Dunlop Trailsmarts
      that were older new stock with a four year old date code. I got 6k miles out
      of them to Texas and back.
      With the new addition of the KLR 650 now, I may never run a 50/50 tire on
      the GSA again.

      I just mounted a set of Dunlop Trailmax missions. Love it so far, and the plan is to keep lovin it for a loooong time.

      I've had the dates for this pinned on my calendar for as long as they were known but it looks like I'm going to miss this year. That week/weekend looks like the only time I'll actually be at home in many weeks and it's the week before my last kid graduates high school. Family coming in to town and events out the wazoo.

      Hope you guys have the usual great weather and safe rides and hopefully see you next year.

                      Changed the oil in the GSA, washed & waxed it
                      the gas tank is full, that should last the 4 days
                      And look at the forecast

                        Well, that doesn't suck. It always rains at least for a hour or two though. Last year was a similar forecast and we damn near lost Bill's new canopy. Wish I was going to be there.
