Yeah, that had to be a scary moment for Jim. You had it slowed down but I'm sure that actually happened in the blink of an eye. I'm assuming that guy met the guard rail.

Thanks for posting this Wes. Yes, it was way too close a call for me. Looking into the headlight of another bike coming at me was no fun. I expected him to at least give me a glancing blow on the right and I was prepared for the hit. Fortunately, all I felt was wind and with a final look in my right mirror, I saw him upright against the guardrail. Not sure if he actually went down but with his trajectory, I do not see how he could have avoided the guardrail. It did spook me for the rest of the ride and my mind kept replaying the incident. I think that my experience in this event kept us both alive. If I had pulled right to avoid, then chances are I would not be here to report this.

I've been scanning through all the Friday and Saturday video. There's basically two full days of video so I'll try to distill it down into something short and watchable in the next few days. It looks like I've got a lot of video of Bill and Mani pulling away from me as the road got more and more challenging
