    Weather! Weather! Weather! ... PERFECT.

    Thanks to Joe and all those who showed up. Following Joe and Matt made for a very fun and exciting experience. The views from the BRP went on forever. After the rally I went to John O's in Ashville and we rode some more. Got home Wed night.

    Back in the mid 30's my Father was part of a traveling motorcycle stunt show that toured the Midwest USA. He was the guy who rode a bike similar to this one on the Wall of Death. He also crashed through a flaming brick wall.

      I was referring to the video I posted below. I was pointing out that the guy starting the the bike was not Dale. He passed in Feb of 2021.

          Hey Jerry, yes, there will be something. The hotel I planned on using is under new management and has piss poor communications when it comes to getting this scheduled. The tentative dates are September 14-17. If all else fails, we will pull the trigger on those dates and everyone can schedule their own hotel rooms without discounts.

        Darn, I wanted to go this year and finally gave up on it happening last week. Made plans for NE Iowa and SW Wisconsin. Sep 8th to 17th.

            BMJ, Thanks, but a bit too far and I am a slow rider, not up to the standards of many on this site. By the way, my comment about "the chosen" is a compliment not a negative as it was twisted to sound. there are a lot of people on this site who go the extra mile with their knowledge about bikes and their miles - Pirate, Tim and Susan, Lee and Debi, MattB, BillGSA, to name a few. . I'm not them and I don't have their bike knowledge, riding skills, etc. As I said before, those people have earned it, even though someone wanted to make a joke of it. Have fun in colorado.

            Unfortunately I have signed up for the BMWRA National rally in Canaan valley, VA during those days. I had planned on long rides, moto camping this year. Will miss you guys.
            I am also going to Davis,Ohio earlier in September for the Wailin Wayne BMW MOA rally.
