I haven't made any rallies in the last few years as Tanya [my wife] is getting worse with Alzheimer's and can no longer ride a bike.
I also haven't posted in a few years, which is sad. I thought we could drive over this year, [for a last visit] to see old friends.
I guess after justjoe signed out the rally last year, no one made the trip.
Is anyone willing to join Tanya and I for one last time in Maggie Valley this September? If someone will suggest a date, I can find a motel, and reserve some rooms.
Lurking Charlie, Woody, Rob, anyone from the Greensboro area willing to make the ride? It would also be nice to see the Kentucky boys [and maybe a jar of moonshine] one more time. I would expect anyone within 100 miles to make the ride [I hope].
We will be coming by car since Tanya can't get on [or stay on] a bike, but I might get my son, Michael, to ride over on the 1998 K1200RS, for old times sake. We will not be doing day rides, but you all can come on your bikes and enjoy the roads.
