Today will be in the upper 60s. We'll go south on 23, then go over Mt Magazine before ending in Mena. Thought about staying at Queen Whilhelmena Lodge but you have to stay 2 nights onweekends.

I rarely have desserts these days and when I do we usually split them.
About twenty years ago LT, Stewart and I met Susan and Tim for dinner.
I think I had fried ice cream that night and it threw my diet out the window.
Hanging out with those two guys for a week, it was hard to keep eating
salads every meal. After awhile it wore me down and I had a burger and
fries.

I've ridden every bike in the bottom photograph except for the CBX, and Gold Star. I bet there is more than one person who has ridden ridden all of them!

Tyson and Cathy are home in Cushing, Oklahoma now. Though it was still in the low 50's, we started the fireplace when we walked in the door! A bit of change from the Hill Country!

We had a great time. Perfect riding weather the entire time in Bandera. It seemed like each day was better than the one before. We had great outings, topped off with a Gary Tour of his home turf. The Luckenbach interlude on the last day was a perfect way to round out a Hill Country week. Musicians were outstanding, the jokes funny, the company was okay, and the beer was cold. That's a winning combination.
