Beautiful Day for a ride 
, got about 10 miles from home pulled into a gravel lot for a drink of water. On the way out I got the front tire on the pavement when the back tire broke lose the traction control came on the bike stopped & I couldn't reach the ground. I tumbled off the right side. A guy stopped & helped me stand it up. All seemed fine so I continued on until I tried to downshift, stuck in 4th.​​ I pulled over & found the shifter bent, how that happened I have no idea. I was about to turn around when I remembered that I would have to do a right hand uphill switchback, no way that was happening in 4th gear.
So I took the long way home, I managed to get it down to 3rd, that made it a lot easier.
