    Help Us Out

    Hey Everybody,

So in short, help us out with that and think before you post. Most of all, help us from becoming d**ks.

    You got it Wes!

Just slap me if I digress once in a while...

Thanks Wes. Looking forward to the new logo(s) and hopefully some stickers. Colorado 2020 will provide a lot of sticky opportunities.

Well said Wes. And yes "Maybe [you] should set higher standards" regarding the people you ride with. But wait until after your OZ trip

Mat assured me that I'd be riding only with folks of the highest character and morals in Oz. Maybe he booked me with another group!

Yeah, nah, he got it right, Wes. Mat's a Kiwi so his character and morals are pretty low to start off with

No politics or religion, same as at the dinner table, rule #7.
I need new "highly functional reflective stickers" and a banner for the garage. I hope these are heatproof.

Perfectly put, Wes! IMHO you are so right on so many levels with what you say. Keep those principles in place and the Riders Pace has got the makings of a great space.

I'm guilty of not writing up rides. Have done a couple this year so MGMST

Thanks for posting this up Wes. I am one of those who has been guilty of posting strong political opinions. I am trying hard to not do that anymore. None of us are perfect and there will be times when something is said that goes against the ideals that this site will try to maintain. When that happens it would be nice if each one of us polices ourselves and our friends. If an admin or moderator (when we get those) have to step in, we have all failed each other.

I invite you to police us, the admin's, as well. The admins have made a commitment to each other to speak up and address anything that comes up. Simple rules to follow really. 1. If it violates our rules then it has to go and 2. If it is borderline then the admins will chat about it. In both cases, we will talk to the person who stepped over the line and that includes the admins. What's good for the gander is good for the goose.

While it is true that I put the technical whammy on this site, I view it as OUR site, all of us. It is not just here for me or the admins, it is here for all of us and I hope everyone views it that way. TRP is our community online and if we can be socially responsible about our community then I truly believe it will flourish and be a great place for everyone. Divisive issues where there is no hope of compromise is not the way to go.

I think we should make you a political moderator. All complaints should go to Martin from now on...

Seriously Mike here's what I'd say about a topic like that. Disclaimer: This my personal opinion and does not constitute the opinion of TRP. If you were asking something like, "hey, what's a good gun for concealed carry", or you got a new gun and wanted to tell folks about that I'd say that's ok. If you got into the whole second amendment debate, that gets more into politics and issues where folks already have their mind made up. I'd stay away from that. That's just my opinion.

Yet, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.
