I like this: "I got the sickness as a kid when I heard that a Vincent could go 150 mph."

I got the sickness as a kid looking at Sears catalogs.
The ad said the Allstate 250 would do 80 "heart hammering" miles per hour. I was hooked. Never did own one.

Whoa!!! Pete, I think I am reasonably conversant in all types of motorcycle engines. I NEVER knew anything about this thing. Gee. Rube Goldberg design for sure!

The '24 M1000R has a huge power problem in 2, and 3 gears between 3000 and 5000 RPM. I installed a Stage 1 Bren Tune. Amazing difference added 50 hp in that area. Makes it so you don't have to wind up to 10,000 RPM to have so much fun. Just out this morning on it. Was even going close to the speed limit when a local sheriff approached on a remote river road I ride all the time. It has been found by many other bikers lately.
