                I've got 225 miles on it and I need between 500 & 600 for the first service. I'm thinking of riding the bike back to Pensacola next Tuesday for the scheduled service. That's 200 miles right there. I've ordered a wind screen and tank bag. The plan is to truck it to The Hill Billy and drink https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodford_Reserve with Karl and yuz gals. Bottle is already in the truck.
                I hope we can get past the political discussions and go straight to religion. .... ...

                            Pete, first, congrats!

                            I gotta ask though, reading this sounds like you bought the bike having never ridden one, is that true? Regardless, i hope it's all you dream about (well, beyond the blow up).

                                Yes I did. I just spent $700 rebuilding the wilbers. The bike itself is probably not worth two grand. After riding the s1000r I can tell that the KRS is definitely the highway bike. Case I get crazy again and want to take a long trip I might consider my old Pig.
